"The Final Seconds"
VH-OJA about to touch down at Albion Park, Wollongong, at the end of its final flight, 7 March 2015.
This was the very first Qantas B747-400 and she set a record in 1989 for the longest non-stop flight: London to Sydney on her delivery flight. She's now retired at after one of her shortest flights ever from Sydney to Albion Park.
Purchase prints of this image and help the students at the Salabaï Hotel and Restaurant School, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This school provides 100 underprivileged Cambodians with a free, twelve-month training course, equipping them with skills to work in Five Star hotels. Priority is given to young women (~70% of the students) as they tend to have less schooling and are more vulnerable. Funding is from sponsorship/fundraising, or by visiting and/or staying at the hotel school. Go to http://www.salabai.com for more information about this fantastic organisation.
Every dollar profit raised from sales of this photograph will go towards their tuition.
One 8" x 12" print will pay for 2 days of one student's tuition, one 12" x 18" print pays for 3 days tuition and one 16" x 24" print pays for 4 days tuition.
Packaging and postage is included in the prices. I will deliver the images anywhere in Australia.
